Healthcare needs a better rhythm: one that keeps care continuous and deeply human. Heidi is building an AI Care Partner that works alongside clinicians to make that possible.
We’re a team of doctors, engineers, designers, researchers, and creatives building tools that help clinicians stay focused on what matters most: their patients.
In just 18 months, Heidi has given back more than 18 million hours to healthcare professionals — supporting 73 million patient visits in 116 countries. Today, more than two million patient visits each week are powered by Heidi worldwide.
Backed by nearly $100 million in funding, we’re growing in the US, UK, Canada, and Europe, partnering with leading health systems including the NHS, Beth Israel Lahey Health, and Monash Health.
As Financial Controller at Heidi Health, you'll own the integrity of our financial operations across multiple global entities. You'll lead the month-end close, financial controls, statutory reporting and multi-entity accounting function.
You'll manage and develop our accounting team, drive continuous improvement across processes and systems, and ensure our financial infrastructure keeps pace with a business growing double digits month on month. You'll also work closely with our AR Operations Manager, FP&A Manager and FinOps and Systems Lead to build a finance function that scales. We're building an AI-forward finance team and expect this role to actively leverage AI tooling to improve accuracy, speed and efficiency across financial operations.
This is a role for someone who has run an accounting function end to end and wants to do it again at pace. If you've built controls, led a close across multiple entities, and know what good looks like in a high-growth SaaS environment, we'd love to hear from you.
Own the end-to-end month-end and year-end close across all Heidi entities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and continuous improvement in the close cycle.
Lead and develop the accounting team, setting standards, building capability and creating a culture of ownership and accountability.
Strengthen and maintain the financial control environment across a multi-entity, multi-currency structure, including reconciliations, intercompany accounting and journal entry review.
Deliver timely, accurate monthly management reports, financial statements and variance analysis for leadership and the board.
Own statutory reporting and ensure compliance with IFRS and local GAAP requirements across all jurisdictions.
Oversee tax and regulatory obligations (GST/VAT, payroll tax, corporate compliance) in partnership with external advisers.
Partner with the AR Operations Manager to ensure revenue and AR data flows cleanly into the ledger and reporting.
Work with our FinOps and Systems Lead to improve ERP workflows, system integrations and automation across the finance tech stack.
Support audit processes and manage relationships with external auditors.
Identify and implement process improvements that reduce manual effort, improve data integrity and allow the finance function to scale without scaling headcount linearly.
CA or CPA qualified.
7+ years of experience in financial accounting, audit or controllership, with at least 2 years in a controller or senior accounting role.
Big 4 background combined with experience in a SaaS or high-growth technology business is ideal.
Strong technical accounting skills across IFRS and experience managing multi-entity, multi-currency environments.
Experience leading and developing a team. You set the bar and hold people to it.
Comfortable working in an ERP environment with imperfect data. You know how to build controls around systems that are still maturing.
Strong sense of ownership and initiative. You run the function, you don't wait to be told.
Excellent attention to detail, communication and stakeholder management.
Experience with or genuine interest in applying AI and automation to financial operations.
