The Opportunity
We’re looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to join our Technology team and play a key role in delivering scalable, high-quality solutions across a range of technical projects that support our growing omnichannel business. This is a great opportunity for a senior developer who is not only passionate about building robust systems, but also excited by the chance to lead, mentor and uplift a small team of junior developers, helping to drive best practice, collaboration and technical growth across the function.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing high-quality, scalable and maintainable full stack solutions across web and backend systems
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, build and deliver technical solutions aligned to business needs
- Identifying system performance issues and implementing optimisation strategies
- Leading and contributing to system design, architecture and integration decisions
- Ensuring code quality through best practices, including testing, documentation and code reviews
- Supporting QA and UAT processes and resolving post-implementation issues
- Leading, mentoring and supporting junior developers, fostering a high-performing and collaborative team environment
- Taking ownership of development streams and guiding team deliverables to ensure high standards are met
- Engaging with stakeholders to gather requirements, validate solutions and drive successful project outcomes
- Contributing to continuous improvement across systems, processes and development practices
What we’re Looking For
We’re looking for a technically strong, solutions-focused developer with a passion for building high-performing systems and leading and developing others.
You’ll bring:
- 6+ years’ experience in full stack development
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline.
- Strong proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks such as React or Vue)
- Backend development experience with Node.js
- Solid experience working with AWS (APIs, Lambdas, infrastructure as code)
- Strong understanding of system design, integration and performance optimisation
- Proven experience delivering high-quality, well-tested and well-documented code
- Experience leading projects or mentoring developers (formal or informal)
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and solutions-driven mindset
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- High attention to detail and commitment to best practices and continuous improvement
