ABOUT RESMART
We started with a scooter and a pink bag. Today we’re Australia’s leading doorstep recycling platform, 450,000+ Pickups completed, 2.3 million kg diverted from landfill, and partnerships with Qantas, Westpac, Canva and more. We operate in every capital city and are scaling fast.
Our mission is simple: make recycling easy, accessible and rewarding for every household, business and council in Australia, and eventually beyond.
THE ROLE
This is not a role for someone who needs a fully-defined brief. It’s a “touche-à-tout” position. You’ll own end-to-end marketing across three channels (B2C, B2B, B2G), create content people actually want to watch, and help drive the growth of a business doing something that genuinely matters.
You’ll report to our CMO and work closely with the founders, tech, operations and sales team.
WHAT YOU’LL OWN
- Campaign & project management: drive launches of new services and geographic expansions end-to-end, from brief to post-mortem.
- CRM & retention: own newsletters and lifecycle journeys across B2C, B2B and B2G. Build and run the loyalty program.
- Social media & community: run Instagram and LinkedIn day-to-day, as well as our other channels (Facebook, Tik Tok, Youtube). Stay ahead of trends. Keep our community engaged and growing.
- Sales collateral & events: arm B2B and B2G teams with decks, one-pagers and case studies. Coordinate conference participation.
- Marketing strategy & execution: contribute to the marketing plan across all three channels — then execute it yourself. No handoff to another team.
- Brand partnerships & growth: identify and activate brand partnerships that grow our reach. Think GreenPan, Qantas — who’s next?
- Stakeholder & investor communications: Support investor updates and manage communications with key stakeholders.
- Content creation: create scroll-stopping content across formats: Reels, carousels, copy, campaigns. Portfolio required.
YOU’RE THE ONE IF YOU…
- Have 1-2 years' experience in a similar role (startup or fast-growth environment preferred)
- A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field is required.
- Have a content portfolio you’re proud of: reels, carousels, copy, campaigns - show us
- Thrive with ownership and a rough brief, not a detailed playbook
- Know your way around a CRM (Mailchimp experience preferred) without needing a course first
- Can write for a brand and adapt tone across B2B, B2G and consumer audiences
- Are genuinely passionate about sustainability (our mission isn’t just a line on a deck)
- You’re willing to try new things, fail, and start again
- Are comfortable working in a fast-moving environment

THE SETUP
- Location: Barangaroo - WeWork
- In office: Monday, Wednesday and Friday | Flexi: Tuesday, Thursday
- Team: report to the CMO, work closely with Tech, Ops and Sales.
