Full Job Description

Crowne Plaza Canberra is looking for a full-time Group Reservations Coordinator to grow a great team. As a Group Reservations Coordinator, you’ll make sure all our clients’ group booking run smoothly - acting as both brand ambassador and trusted partner – you’ll connect internal teams to deliver a seamless experience for group guests and as well as partnering with external stakeholders to maintain strong partnerships for long-term contracts.

A little taste of your day to day

In charge of all group enquiries, contracting and coordination, including guest rooms
Seeking proactive measures to maximise all opportunities to increase sales
Developing and maintaining relationships with key clients and outside contacts
Manage the rooming list process for all group segments
Conduct group briefings and site inspections
Liaise with the Revenue Team & Reservations Department for room availability and room preferences
Liase with finance to ensure billing is accurate and credit approvals are processed correctly.

What we need from you:

Demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand and the Company.
Proven communication skills across, phone, email & face to face style interactions
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, experience with Opera and Delphi highly regarded
Problem solving and organizational abilities
Experience working in a hotel reservations or front office role
Must have working rights for Australia
