In this role, you'll:
Working as part of a team delivering assurance activities and systemic safety investigations across Transport for NSW, supporting an effective Health & Safety Assurance Framework through data analysis, audits, reviews, and stakeholder collaboration.
This role will see you administer and support assurance processes, provide guidance and training on compliance requirements, coordinate safety audits and inspections, contribute to compliance and risk control assessments, prepare briefings and reports, support systemic safety investigations, and participate in learning initiatives that uplift risk assessment and assurance capability across the directorate..
You will build improved assurance outcomes and organisational learning in a fast‑paced environment with competing priorities, evolving best‑practice expectations, and the need to meet Transport for NSW and stakeholder requirements.

About you
Your assurance knowledge, auditing capability, analytical skills, communication strength, and commitment to continuous improvement formed across health and safety assurance, auditing, compliance environments and operational safety functions will see you excel in managing competing priorities, overcoming challenges associated with maintaining best‑practice assurance standards, and bringing structured assessments and data‑driven insights to lead to stronger compliance, enhanced organisational learning, and improved safety outcomes.
You’re recognized as an ethical and collaborative assurance professional, skilled at capturing and analysing assurance data, coordinating audits, preparing reports, and supporting systemic investigations, experienced in assurance processes, safety investigations, stakeholder engagement, and applying auditing guidelines such as AS/NZS ISO 19011:2018.
