We’re seeking a dedicated Service Technician to join our New South Wales team and play a key role in supporting our customers across the region. At BAC, what you do genuinely matters — from installing our cooling towers to delivering high‑quality service, cleaning, refurbishment, commissioning, and preventative maintenance across diverse customer sites. Based at our Somersby facility, this hands‑on role involves regular field work, customer interaction, and skilled problem‑solving to assess, identify, and resolve defects while upholding BAC’s strong commercial reputation. When not on-site, you’ll work within our Somersby production facility, contributing to workshop activities, assembly, testing, and general production support.

Willingness to undertake travel to customer sites across NSW
Your skills and experience ESSENTIAL to the role:

You are passionate about what you do and get a kick out of completing the job well

Trade qualification in Mechanical, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Electrical Trade Certificate or Related Trade Qualification.

Safety Certification including White Card
- A blend of technical expertise, hands-on skills, and attention to detail
- Skills in diagnosing and repairing mechanical systems, with a keen eye for identifying improvement opportunities

Excellent customer service and communication skills with the ability to liaise confidently with client representatives

Intermediate level computer literacy and numeracy skills for accurate reporting and documentation

Proficiency in digital site management tools for ITPs and site diaries eg Procore
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team

Driver’s license

Physical fitness to safely perform the duties of the job.
