About the Opportunity
We are seeking a highly driven Business Development Manager to take charge of lead generation and revenue growth efforts across mining and metals commodities, and energy. Based in Perth, you’ll play a pivotal role in expanding our business and solidifying our presence in the market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own revenue growth and lead generation across mining and metals commodities, and energy.
- Identify, pursue and convert new business opportunities
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular engagement
- Manage and develop a strong sales pipeline using CRM
- Monitor market trends, competitors, and client needs
- Coordinate with operations and technical teams to align delivery with client expectations
- Track BD performance and report against revenue targets

Qualifications
To be successful for this role you'll need
- 10 years’ experience in mining and energy industry within a professional consultancy
- Proven background in business development / client acquisition within mining and energy clients
- Demonstrated success hitting revenue and growth targets
- Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills
- High level of autonomy and organisation
- Experience using CRM systems to manage pipelines
- Knowledge of mining & energy regulatory and environmental frameworks
- Strong proposal and presentation capability
- Leadership capability – able to influence and guide teams
