Role Description:
As a Software Communications Project Manager, you will play a critical role in driving the success of our Cross Domain Solutions.
In this role, you will be responsible for the governance, operation, and continuous improvement of systems that enforce secure data flow between differing security domains. These systems enable controlled information exchange while maintaining strict compliance with security policies and accreditation requirements.
Working under the direction of the Product Program Manager - and working closely with the Product Owner - you will be responsible for managing a Product Suite, coordinating stakeholders, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality products and services to our customers.
Core Duties:
- Drive project success through effective planning, resource allocation, scheduling, and budget management, ensuring delivery is on time and within cost.
- Maintain strong stakeholder relationships, provide clear reporting, and conduct lifecycle reviews to ensure alignment with organisational governance.
- Uphold quality standards while proactively identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks across the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate product and service orders in close collaboration with ICT engineers and BAE Systems resellers.
- Manage Maintenance & Support, and Extended Warranty services for the customer base
- Lead the creation of tenders and quotations for offerings, integrating products, engineering development, engineering services, and tailored support solutions.
- Oversee bespoke projects as directed by the Product Program Manager
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of hardware and software products to provide effective sales support and strengthen reseller partnerships.
About You
- Project Management qualifications or higher education and vocational/trade qualifications in Project Management or similar disciplines are highly desirable.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, emphasising integration and collaboration across multiple teams.
- Ability to obtain and maintain NV1 security clearance
