About the role
As a Pharmacist, you will play an important role in delivering safe, effective and patient-centred medication management services across a diverse healthcare environment. You will provide a comprehensive range of professional, clinical, dispensing, production and counselling services to inpatients and outpatients, helping to optimise drug therapy and support positive patient outcomes.
Working collaboratively with medical, nursing and allied health professionals, you will provide expert medication and therapeutic advice while contributing to high-quality patient care. As part of a supportive multidisciplinary team, you will help ensure services are delivered in accordance with hospital policies, SA Health guidelines and relevant legislation, while supporting continuous improvement and excellence in pharmacy practice.
About You
You are a motivated and patient-focused Pharmacist who enjoys working as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality medication management services. You bring strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills, along with a commitment to safe and effective patient care.
- Bachelor of Pharmacy and registration, or eligibility for registration, with the Pharmacy Board of Australia
- Deliver clinical pharmacy, dispensing and patient counselling services
- Build positive relationships within multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Apply strong attention to detail, initiative and sound legislative knowledge
