About the role
We have a fantastic opportunity for an lawyer to join our award-winning Commercial Disputes team.
The role will see the successful candidate work on a mix of commercial litigation and finance enforcement matters, with a particular focus on mortgage recovery for one of the firm’s major clients.
Owing to the growth of our mortgage recovery practice, we are looking for a lawyer who has the drive and passion to undertake this work, while also assisting with general commercial disputes matters. You will work alongside a supportive team while encouraged to work with high levels of responsibility and autonomy under appropriate supervision.
While this role is based in our Sydney CBD office, at Bartier Perry we all have the opportunity to work flexibly and remotely.

About you
Our ideal candidate possesses:
- 1 to 2 years of post-admission experience working in a mortgage enforcement and recoveries practice;
- Strong knowledge of legislative and court procedures relating to debt recovery matters
- Aptitude for working in a fast-paced and high volume practice
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management and ability to work to meet deadlines
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
