The Opportunity
The Senior ServiceNow Developer – HR Service Delivery (HRSD) is responsible for the design, development, configuration, integration, and ongoing support of the ServiceNow HRSD platform. The role partners with People & Culture, Technology, Product Owners, and business stakeholders deliver secure, scalable, and user-centric HR solutions that improve employee experience, automate business processes, and support organisational objectives.
The role contributes across the full software development lifecycle, ensuring solutions align with platform best practice, governance standards, and enterprise architecture while maintaining platform stability, performance, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Platform Development & Support
- Design, configure, develop, and implement solutions within the ServiceNow HRSD platform.
- Develop workflows, catalog items, record producers, knowledge articles, forms, portals, and HR services.
- Configure HR Case Management, Employee Centre, Lifecycle Events, and other related HRSD capabilities.
- Develop and maintain reusable components to maximise platform consistency and efficiency.
- Develop and maintain integrations with HR and enterprise platforms including SAP SuccessFactors, Active Directory, identity management solutions, payroll systems, and other enterprise applications.
- Configure APIs, IntegrationHub, Flow Designer, and other integration technologies.
- Support workflow automation to improve operational efficiency and employee experience.
Solution Delivery and Planning
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Participate in solution design workshops and provide technical advice during discovery and planning activities.
- Estimate development effort and contribute to sprint planning and release planning.
- Support Agile delivery practices throughout the development lifecycle.
Stakeholder Management
- Build trusted relationships with internal stakeholders, project teams, and tech partners.
- Work closely with the P&C and Technology teams to align on roadmap priorities and co-deliver solutions.
- Ensure seamless collaboration across P&C, Technology, and external partners.
The Ideal Profile
The ideal Senior ServiceNow Developer brings deep expertise across the ServiceNow platform, particularly HR Service Delivery (HRSD), with a strong track record delivering scalable, employee-focused solutions in complex enterprise environments . They possess hands-on experience across JavaScript, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, Employee Centre, Service Portal and integrations using REST and SOAP APIs, combined with a solid understanding of Agile delivery and ITIL principles.
They are a collaborative and customer-focused professional who can translate business requirements into practical technical solutions, while partnering effectively with both HR and Technology stakeholders. Ideally, they hold ServiceNow CSA, CAD and HRSD Implementation Specialist certifications and have experience supporting HR transformation initiatives, digital employee experiences and integrations with platforms such as SAP SuccessFactors . They combine strong technical capability with a continuous improvement mindset and a passion for delivering high-quality outcomes.
Please Note: This is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract.

You will bring:
- 5+years of Service Now HRSD development and implementation of HRSD Modules across multiple businesses
- Experience with P&C systems such as SuccessFactors, Service Now HRSD & UKG would be highly regarded
- Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills as well as excellent problem-solving skills and interpersonal relationship building
- Demonstrated ability to manage tech environments and schedules.
- Working with Platforms Leads, Domain & Solution Architects, Developers to understand and shape technical solutions
- Ability to recommend technology and process solutions to improve business performance with current systems and or integrations.
- Experience working with integrations across multiple platforms.
- Experience dealing, System Analysts, System Architects, Developers, Testers and other technology stakeholders.
- Use of formal documentation methodologies (such as UML, BPM, Use Cases & User Stories)
