About the role:
Join the GV Health Occupational Therapy team as part of our Grade 1 program. A perfect opportunity to experience the public and community sector with a supportive team who can equip you with the skills needed for a strong career start. Build confidence and gain experience under the supervision of experienced Occupational Therapists in the assessment, intervention and discharge planning of those in our care. Each rotation provides a supportive workplace culture within a multidisciplinary team across Mental Health, Acute (Medical, Surgical, Paediatric, Emergency and Intensive Care units), Sub-acute (Rehab, Geriatric Evaluation and Management, and Palliative Care), Community Rehab Centre and Community Health.

We offer a comprehensive orientation, along with structured clinical supervision and graduate support programs.

New graduates are welcome, and encouraged to apply.

The successful applicant will have:
Relevant tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy with eligibility for membership of Occupational Therapy Australia
Current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency as an Occupational Therapist
Sound understanding of Occupational Therapy practice in the inpatient or community setting, including clinical experience in assessment, intervention and discharge planning of various patient cohorts
Demonstrated commitment to learning and professional development, including a positive attitude towards supervision and receiving feedback
