Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Human Resources Administrator/Office Assistant to join our team in Chatswood. This permanent, full-time role is essential for supporting our HR functions and ensuring smooth office operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in fostering a positive workplace environment and assisting with various administrative tasks, contributing to the overall efficiency of our HR department and office enironment.

This role will suit someone who enjoys being busy, takes pride in staying organised

Responsibilities:

Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job advertisements, screeening candidates and scheduling interviews.
Maintain employee records and ensure all documentation is up to date and compliant with regulations.
Support the onboarding process for new hires, including orientation and training coordination.
Handle general office administration tasks, such as managing correspondence and maintaining office supplies.
Assist in the preparation of HR reports and presentations as required.
Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures.
Coordinate employee engagement activities and events.
Providing general office and administrative support as required
Assisting with insuring servicing of vehicles
Ensuring all registrations of vehicles are up to date
Managing Debtors
Ensuring office and kitchen space in order and fully stocked
Answering over-flow inbound office calls

Qualifications:

A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred.
Previous experience in an administrative or HR role is advantageous but not essential for entry-level candidates.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
