As a Senior Consultant Engineer, you will be joining Technology Personal Everyday Banking team that’s doubling down on customer obsession.

Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:

Design, development, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement of software solutions.
Leading, Coaching & mentoring of team to uplift skills and knowledge to perform their role
Execute & drive hands-on design, software development, implementation of the origination of banking services.
Ensure best practice CI/CD across the team.
Maintain an understanding of 'Best practice’ initiatives within own specialist area, and IT in general by continually seeking out relevant industry and technical knowledge. Improve on professional skills by completing necessary development activities
Ensure systems are backed up, patched, and maintained to enterprise standards.

We’re looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You’ll need:

10+ years Technology experience
10+ years in application development and / or support roles using languages such as Java/nodejs/reactjs
Strong Experience in modern frameworks like Spring boot, Spring data, Eventing, multi threading, memory optimisation, UX.
Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases, including performance tunning and management
CI/CD tools such as Harness, Ansible, Terraform
Familiarity with Workflow, State machines.
Familiarity with AI tools
