Senior Business Analyst – Power BI & Microsoft Fabric

The Role

Are you passionate about Power BI, data analytics, and the Microsoft ecosystem? Join us to design and deliver modern data warehouse and reporting solutions using Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and the Power Platform across a variety of exciting client projects.

We're looking for skilled, motivated professionals who thrive on solving data challenges and creating insight through analytics. Reporting to the Directors, you'll work directly with clients to deliver high-quality consulting projects, on time, on budget, and aligned with best practices.

You'll enjoy flexibility, autonomy, and the chance to make a real impact without being micro-managed.

Mandatory

A Power BI enthusiast with deep understanding of Power Query (M), DAX, data modelling, and dashboard design.
Strong grasp of the Power BI service architecture – workspaces, apps, and security.
Experience building or contributing to data warehouse solutions (preferably using Microsoft Fabric or related technologies).
Working knowledge of data extraction techniques and integrating multiple data sources.
5+ years' practical experience in reporting, analytics, or data consulting (including at least 2 years with Power BI).
Excellent communication and client engagement skills, comfortable working independently with clients and managing your own projects.
A proactive, professional, and friendly approach that builds lasting client relationships.
A strong desire to learn, grow, and deliver outstanding results across multiple projects.

Highly Desirable

Experience with Power Platform tools such as Power Automate and Power Apps.
Professional accounting or management reporting background.
Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst certification (PL-300).
Microsoft Implementing Analytics Solutions using Microsoft Fabric (DP-600).
Microsoft Implementing Data Engineering Solutions using Microsoft Fabric (DP-700).
Experience with SQL databases and data transformation processes.
Advanced Excel skills.
Established network of Perth business contacts.
