PoD Lead, ANZ Industries
What You'll Do
As the PoD Lead for ANZ Industries, you will lead Teradata's business across key industry sectors (Manufacturing ,Retail ,Telecommunications ,Transportation ,Healthcare,Energy & Utilities) in Australia and New Zealand, driving growth, customer success, and strategic account expansion within the region.
You will be responsible for accelerating revenue growth across Teradata's existing customer base while identifying new opportunities to expand adoption of AI, data analytics, cloud, and modernization solutions. Working within Teradata's Pod operating model, you will lead a cross-functional team of Account Executives, Customer Success professionals, Solution Engineers, Consultants, and Partners to deliver exceptional customer outcomes.
This role requires a strategic business leader who can build trusted relationships with senior executives, develop long-term growth strategies, and ensure customers realize measurable business value from their Teradata investments.
Success in this role means achieving revenue targets, improving customer retention and expansion, strengthening executive relationships, and establishing Teradata as a trusted strategic partner across the ANZ market.
Key Responsibilities
Own the overall business performance and growth strategy across assigned industry accounts in Australia and New Zealand.
Lead and inspire a high-performing Pod team focused on customer acquisition, retention, and expansion.
Develop and execute strategic account plans that align customer priorities with Teradata's AI, analytics, and cloud solutions.
Build and maintain executive-level relationships with business and technology decision makers.
Drive pipeline generation, forecast accuracy, and achievement of quarterly and annual revenue targets.
Partner closely with Customer Success, Consulting, Marketing, Product Management, and Partner Ecosystem teams to maximize customer outcomes.
Identify growth opportunities across existing accounts and new industry segments.
Champion customer-centric selling and value-based engagement strategies.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous development.
Who You'll Work With
You will be part of Teradata's APJ Sales organization and collaborate closely with Sales, Customer Success, Consulting Services, Solution Engineering, Marketing, Product, and Partner teams.
The ANZ Industries Pod combines diverse expertise and capabilities to help customers accelerate digital transformation, unlock the value of trusted AI, and deliver business outcomes through modern data and analytics platforms.
This role reports to the Regional Sales Leadership team and plays a key leadership role in Teradata's growth strategy across Australia and New Zealand.
What Makes You a Qualified Candidate
10+ years of enterprise technology sales, account management, or business leadership experience.
Proven track record of exceeding growth, retention, and revenue objectives in complex enterprise environments.
Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing strategic customer relationships.
Demonstrated ability to engage and influence C-level executives and senior decision makers.
Strong understanding of enterprise software, data, analytics, AI, cloud, or digital transformation solutions.
