Job Description
We are looking for a driven and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to take ownership of our day-to-day warehouse operations and lead a high-performing team. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will play a critical part in ensuring operational efficiency, safety, and accuracy across all warehouse activities.
As the central point of coordination, you will oversee the end-to-end flow of goods, maintain strong stock control practices, and ensure all operational data is accurately captured to support 3PL billing. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, proactive problem-solving, and the ability to lead from the front in a fast-paced environment.
You will also champion a safety-first culture, ensuring all team members follow best practice handling procedures while maintaining a clean, organised, and fully compliant warehouse.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and promote a strong safety culture, ensuring full compliance with Mondiale VGL’s OH&S policies and safe work practices

Maintain strict warehouse security protocols, ensuring access is limited to authorised personnel only

Plan and prioritise daily workloads, including container unpacks, to meet customer delivery expectations

Ensure accurate system entries for unpack lists, cartage advice, and operational records

Manage and optimise staffing levels across full-time employees and casual labour to meet operational demands

Oversee contractor management, including site inductions and supervision of unpack crews

Maintain warehouse standards, including racking inspections, cleanliness, and damage reporting

Ensure all warehouse equipment is properly maintained and serviced in line with compliance schedules

Coordinate local and interstate deliveries, including label generation and collaboration with client relations teams

Ensure full compliance with quarantine regulations, particularly for agricultural unpacks and documentation requirements

Conduct weekly pallet counts and ensure accurate reporting to the on-site pallet controller
Qualifications
Your Expertise
-
2+ years proven leadership in occupational health and safety (OHS), with a strong commitment to safe work practices

Current forklift licence with hands-on experience in warehouse environments

Demonstrated staff management skills, including team supervision and performance coordination

High level of reliability, integrity, and leadership, with a proactive and accountable work ethic

Strong attention to detail and well-developed computer literacy for accurate data handling and reporting

Effective interpersonal skills, with the ability to drive improvements within the warehouse team and collaborate cross-functionally across departments

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight timeframes, ensuring customer orders are fulfilled and queries are resolved promptly

Skilled in managing multiple operational areas simultaneously, maintaining calm and efficient warehouse performance under varying demands
