About the Role
Step into a leadership role where you help shape safe, consistent and high quality nursing care. Working alongside the Nurse Unit Manager, you’ll support daily operations, guide staff and strengthen team performance across a busy clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support ward leadership and clinical coordination
- Guide and develop less experienced nursing staff
- Promote continuity and consistency of patient care
- Assist with rostering, staffing and workload allocation
- Contribute to practice improvement and team outcomes
About You
You are a capable and supportive nursing professional who brings strong clinical practice, leadership potential and a commitment to quality care.
- Registered Nurse with AHPRA registration and licence
- Apply sound clinical judgement in acute care settings
- Support and supervise students and less experienced staff
- Work effectively in multidisciplinary team environments
- Manage priorities with clear communication and flexibility
