Full Job Description

Your role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Functional Tester to ensure our business applications and processes perform reliably following system changes and deployments. In this role, you will focus on validating end-to-end functionality, data integrity, and system integrations from a business and user perspective.

Key Responsibilities

Execute functional test cases aligned with approved requirements and test scenarios
Validate end-to-end business processes and user workflows to ensure expected outcomes
Perform regression testing to confirm existing functionality remains stable
Verify data accuracy, calculations, and system outputs where applicable
Test system interfaces and integrations at a functional level
Identify, log, and retest defects using approved defect management tools
Prepare test evidence and contribute to test completion and sign-off activities

About You

Proven experience working as a Functional Tester or Test Analyst.
Strong understanding of business‑process‑driven testing.
Experience executing manual test cases and documenting results.
Familiarity with defect tracking and test execution tools.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured test approaches.
Clear communication and documentation skills.

Desirable:

Experience testing enterprise or business‑critical applications.
Exposure to integration or data‑driven testing environments.
Experience working in structured delivery or program environments.

Please note: You must be living in Australia with valid working rights to be considered due to the security requirements for the role.

This role requires you to work onsite a minimum of 3 days per week within our Melbourne office.
