As a Lead Quality Engineer, you’ll play a key role in shaping how we deliver quality across critical technology initiatives. Sitting within our Technology function, this role leads end-to-end quality engineering outcomes, ensuring our platforms and products deliver reliable, secure, and seamless experiences for our customers.
You’ll be at the forefront of our digital transformation, driving modern practices across automation, DevSecOps and AI-enabled quality. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll influence how teams work, uplift engineering capability, and ensure we deliver at pace without compromising on quality, compliance or customer outcomes.
You will also be responsible for the following:
- Lead and develop a high-performing team of Quality Engineers, fostering an inclusive and growth-focused culture
- Drive the adoption of modern quality engineering practices including automation-first, shift-left and AI-enabled approaches
- Own end-to-end quality outcomes for key initiatives, ensuring delivery meets performance, security and customer expectations
- Partner closely with product, engineering and business stakeholders to embed quality across the delivery lifecycle
- Establish and optimise test frameworks, environments and data strategies to enable continuous testing at scale
- Monitor quality metrics and continuously improve processes to uplift engineering maturity and delivery outcomes

You are a collaborative and forward-thinking leader who enjoys working in complex environments and influencing outcomes. You bring curiosity, strong stakeholder engagement, and a passion for driving modern engineering practices that deliver real customer value.
In order to be successful, you will have the following:
- Extensive experience in software quality engineering across large and complex environments
- Proven leadership experience building and developing high-performing engineering teams
- Strong expertise in test automation frameworks and integration within CI/CD pipelines
- Experience driving DevSecOps practices and embedding quality early across delivery lifecycles
- Hands-on experience with modern testing approaches including performance, security and non-functional testing
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence technical and non-technical audiences
