We are seeking an Application Specialist to join our customer team. This is on-site working from customer office at Laverton. This role reports into Practice Manager.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Application Development, Enhancement, and Support of technical components in 3rd party applications
- Enhancements to application components where appropriate
- Respond to alerts raised by application monitoring, investigate and resolve
- Follow ITIL best practice for incident management
- Proactively check processes with a view to identifying issues before they affect deliverables
- Analysis of data-related issues to determine how best to resolve application integrity issues
- Application Support for all business applications and interfaces
- Technical assistance for business teams relating to general application queries affecting their functional areas.
- Involvement in project handovers to ensure a smooth transition to production support
- Ensure database performance, replication and data backups are operating efficiently
Requirements and Experience
- C# (Model-View-Controller or similar pattern, secure Web API, Deployment and packaging)
- Object-oriented programming concepts
- Microsoft SQL server 2017 (or later version): TSQL, stored procedures/views, knowledge in database schema, indexing, performance optimisation
- .NET Core 3.1 or later version (latest is .NET 8.x)
- Internet Information Services (IIS)
Optional but desirable:
- Microsoft Edge browser Dev Tools
- Jira/confluence (Altassian suite)
