Senior SW Dev (Backend)

Competencies/Technical

5+ Years commercial experience
Knowledge of professional software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, unit testing, code reviews and continuous integration
Experience with large scale projects using existing frameworks, and small special purpose applications built from scratch, without framework assistance is a bonus
Technical Competent in
- Rest API Development, Implementation, Usage
- JavaScript, Node, npm
- Linux usage
- Git / Version Control
Security Conscious – care and practice taken to ensure best practice around operational and developmental security
Good understanding of modern authentication and security mechanisms
Experience with Full Stack Development
Experience with Containerization Frameworks
Experience with Docker
Familiar with:
- MQTT
- Axon
- Python
- Node Red
- Prometheus
- Grafana
- Docker Compose
- PostgresQL
