Join Bolton Clarke as a Quality Officer – Retirement Living and play a key role in strengthening quality, governance and continuous improvement across our national retirement living portfolio.
In this role, you’ll support the implementation and ongoing maturity of our Retirement Living Quality Framework, helping ensure our villages operate with clear, consistent and compliant practices. Working closely with Operations, Legal, Risk and Quality teams, you’ll translate complex requirements into practical tools, reporting and processes that support high-quality, evidence-based outcomes.

Key activities:
- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of the Retirement Living Quality Framework across all villages
- Identify trends, risks, gaps and improvement opportunities from complaints, incidents, audits and operational data
- Develop and refine procedures, templates, work instructions and tools to support consistent, high-quality practice
- Maintain document control, including version management, publishing and ensuring consistency across materials
- Prepare quality reporting, dashboards, governance packs and action registers to highlight risks and performance trends
- Support governance forums through preparation of papers, minutes and follow-up actions
- Provide coaching and guidance to Village Managers and Operations teams on quality tools and processes
- Support quality systems for complaints, incidents and disputes, ensuring strong documentation and evidence practices
We would love to hear from you if you have:
- Experience in quality, governance, compliance, risk, audit or service improvement roles
- Exposure to working in regulated environments (retirement living, aged care, health, community services or similar)
- Strong ability to translate complex requirements into clear, practical procedures and tools
- Excellent written communication skills, particularly in developing policies, procedures and reports
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities
- Experience with document control, version management and structured systems or frameworks
- Confidence working with stakeholders and influencing outcomes across teams
