Position Purpose
The Member Service Representative is a dynamic role that is responsible for driving membership growth through proactive sales activities, lead conversion, and relationship building. This role also plays a key part in delivering outstanding customer service, ensuring all members and prospective members receive a positive and professional experience throughout their journey.
The role requires a balance of sales performance, customer engagement, and administrative support to maintain smooth day-to-day operations.

Position Overview:
Membership Sales & Lead Conversion :
- Actively promote and sell memberships to meet and exceed sales targets
- Conduct tours and presentations to prospective members
- Follow up on leads via phone, email, SMS, and in-person engagement
- Convert enquiries into memberships through effective consultative selling techniques
- Identify customer needs and recommend suitable membership options
- Maintain accurate records of sales activity and lead tracking systems (CRM)
- Drive sales across memberships, supplements, apparel accessories and consumables to achieve individual and team sales targets
Customer Service:
- Provide exceptional customer service to visitors
- Support member check-ins and provide information about gym services, memberships, schedules, and promotions
- Address and resolve customer inquiries, complaints, and issues promptly.
- Coordinate with gym staff to ensure smooth operations and excellent member experiences.
Nutrition Bar Duties:
- Prepare and serve smoothies, coffees, and other beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Adhere to Nutrition bar standard operating procedure in relation to Food Safety, cleanliness and replenishment of stock
- Provide information about the nutritional content of beverages and snacks offered.
Administrative Tasks:
- Support administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and maintaining inventory records.
- Manage phone calls and emails, directing them to the appropriate staff members as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of member information and services.
Gym operations:
- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of the reception area, nutrition bar, gym floor, and locker rooms in accordance with cleaning standards.
- Report any incidents, maintenance issues and equipment malfunctions
- Assist with setting up and organizing gym events and classes as needed.
