What You’ll Do
Working closely with the Associate Director, Regulatory Programs and collaborating across technical and business teams, you will:
Support the design, implementation, and ongoing operation of regulatory systems aligned to telecommunications legislation and national interest requirements
Assist senior engineers in delivering end-to-end solutions across the technology lifecycle, from development through to operations
Contribute to highly available, secure, and scalable systems, ensuring reliability of critical regulatory platforms
Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders, including government and law enforcement agencies, to support solution delivery and operations
Participate in security risk assessments and help maintain security architecture in regulated environments
Support continuous improvement through modern engineering practices, automation, and evolving technologies
What You’ll Bring
Experience in systems engineering, infrastructure, or network engineering, ideally within telecommunications or regulated environments
Knowledge of data networks, servers, and storage technologies, with exposure to distributed systems
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and modern tooling
Ability to support fault-tolerant and scalable systems in production environments
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Exposure to 4G/5G networks and data analytics is desirable
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Computer Science/Engineering; cybersecurity certifications are an advantage
