Lead Fire and Hydraulics Modeller

What you’ll do

As a Lead Fire and Hydraulics Modeller, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality Fire and hydraulic building services designs across a range of projects. You’ll lead modelling activities, support junior team members, and work closely with engineers and project teams to bring designs to life.

In this role, you will:

Lead the development of Fire and Hydraulics models and documentation for building services projects

Coordinate across multidisciplinary teams including mechanical, electrical, and structural

Oversee and review models to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with standards

Support the delivery of detailed design documentation (drawings, layouts, schematics)

Mentor and guide junior modellers and drafters

Contribute to improving modelling standards, processes, and digital delivery

Liaise with stakeholders to resolve design clashes and coordination issues

What you’ll bring

Strong experience in hydraulic modelling within building services

Proven capability using tools such as Revit (essential) and AutoCAD

Solid understanding of Australian standards and codes relevant to hydraulics

Experience working in a consulting or engineering environment

Ability to lead modelling coordination across multiple disciplines

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality delivery

Confident communicator who can collaborate with engineers and stakeholders
