We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Technical Team Lead to join our team. In this role, you will guide and inspire a team of talented engineers to build scalable, maintainable, and innovative software solutions that power public transportation systems.
Located in Melbourne or Perth, with hybrid working arrangements offering 3 days in-office, this is a unique opportunity to influence the future of mobility technology in a collaborative and supportive work environment.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:

Lead a development team by providing technical guidance, mentoring, and support to ensure successful project delivery.

Design and architect scalable, maintainable software solutions aligned with business goals.

Drive best practices in software development, including code quality, testing, documentation, and DevOps automation.

Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Architects, and Stakeholders to define technical requirements and priorities.

Manage technical risks, resolve blockers, and ensure timely delivery within Agile frameworks.

Foster a positive team culture that encourages innovation, learning, and accountability.
What You Will Bring:

5+ years of professional software development experience with demonstrated leadership in technical roles.

Strong expertise in software architecture, design patterns, and system integration.

Proficiency with cloud platforms (preferably AWS) and modern application frameworks.

Experience leading Agile development teams and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across teams and stakeholders.

Passion for mentoring and developing others, with a commitment to maintaining high engineering standards.

A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field is preferred.
