An exciting leadership opportunity exists for an experienced and highly skilled Chief Paediatric Cardiac Sonographer to join the Heart Centre for Children at The Sydney Children's Hospitals Network. This role offers the chance to lead a dedicated sonography team delivering high-quality, family-centred cardiac care across a complex paediatric and congenital heart disease population. You will play a pivotal role in advancing clinical excellence, education, and service development within one of Australia’s leading paediatric cardiac centres.

- Current accreditation with the Australasian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR).
- Post graduate qualification in diagnostic cardiac ultrasound with extensive experience in paediatric, echocardiography and demonstrated advanced clinical reasoning skills in the performance of complex examinations.
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor, supervise and support cardiac sonographers and trainees to achieve competency and professional development outcomes.
- Proven ability to effectively prioritise and coordinate workloads, including the capacity to delegate tasks appropriately to meet service demands.
- Demonstrated experience in service development, including the ability to design, implement and evaluate protocols and procedures relevant to cardiac ultrasound services.
