About the role
We have an opportunity for a Business Consultant to be part of our Enterprise Resource Planning Program within the Technology & Communication Services Command. The Business Consultant is to provide expertise, analysis in the development design, implementation, review and improvement of business processes and procedures to support effective customer service.
The New South Wales Police Force is undertaking the planning phase of a comprehensive ERP Program, with the SAP Upgrade Project aimed at transitioning to a more sustainable future state. This strategic initiative aims to modernise and optimise the technical foundation of the core ERP environment, ensuring it remains robust, secure, and aligned with evolving technology standards and organisational requirements. The uplift will not only enable the retirement of legacy systems but also drive improved efficiency, resilience, and effectiveness across critical business processes within the NSWPF.
The ERP Program is seeking a Business Consultant (Clerk 7/ to support the HCM Recruitment & Onboarding Solution (PageUp). This role will act as a key link between business and technology, ensuring the solution is fit-for-purpose, effectively supported, and continuously improved. You will provide specialist functional and technical expertise across HCM, working closely with stakeholders to deliver sustainable, high-quality outcomes within a complex enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities
About You (Essential Requirements & Capabilities)

Demonstrated experience with HCM systems (e.g. PageUp, Workday or similar), particularly Recruitment and Onboarding.

Strong capability in system support, including reporting, integrations, analytics, and complex issue resolution
-
Ability to act as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert, with a deep understanding of HR processes and system functionality
-
Proven experience developing or contributing to service delivery/support models
-
Strong stakeholder engagement and consulting skills, with the ability to build relationships, manage expectations, and influence outcomes

Excellent communication skills, including the ability to facilitate workshops and present to senior stakeholders
-
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage competing demands in a high-volume environment
