As part of Victoria’s largest Early Years Management provider, we’re proud to support over 93 services and 700+ educators across the state who inspire, nurture, and empower young learners every day.

We’re now looking for a Part Time Early Childhood Teacher — or someone who’s currently studying toward their qualification — to join our vibrant team and help create inspiring learning experiences for young children.

Where you’ll work

With a strong focus in community partnerships and a dedicated leadership support team, Lucas Kindergarten prides itself on delivering high quality programs that empower children to grow into independent and respectful individuals. We are seeking educators who are enthusiastic about children’s learning and wellbeing and are looking to collaborate with a strong and dynamic team.

Role Details:

Early Childhood Teacher

Tuesday and Wednesday - 9:00am to 4:30pm

15 contact hours + 7.5 non-contact hours + 3.75 ancillary hours = 26.25 hours per week

What You’ll Do

As a valued member of our teaching team, you’ll:

Support play-based learning programs that nurture each child’s growth and development

Build warm, respectful relationships with children, families, and fellow educators

Create safe, inclusive environments where every child feels seen, supported, and inspired

Work collaboratively with your team to deliver exceptional education and care

What You’ll Bring

Accredited qualification in early childhood teaching and current registration with VIT

A genuine interest in supporting children’s development and commitment to ongoing learning

Current Working With Children's Check, First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain)

Great teamwork, communication, and reliability
