About the Role
This is a great opportunity to step into a role where you will help lead the training and development of paralegals across the Family Law Division of Legal Aid NSW. You’ll design and deliver practical training, and help create a strong, collaborative culture where people share knowledge and learn from each other. In addition, you’ll also use your paralegal experience to support solicitors on family law matters like preparing briefs, managing documents and undertaking legal research, helping the team deliver high-quality services to clients.
About You
You’re passionate about training and developing others, with experience delivering engaging, practical learning that builds confidence and capability. You’re organised, self-motivated and comfortable working independently, while also being collaborative and approachable. You bring excellent communication and research skills, with the ability to prepare clear, accurate documents and translate complex legal information into clear, accessible language. You are able to plan and prioritise your work, including managing competing time sensitive tasks.

Essential Requirements
- Hold Australian or NZ citizenship, Australian Permanent Residency (for ongoing roles)
- Undertake relevant pre-employment checks such as Criminal Record Check, and Conduct Service Check
- Some roles may require the ability for remote travel
