We’re now looking for a Part Time Early Childhood Teacher — or someone who’s currently studying toward their qualification — to join our vibrant team and help create inspiring learning experiences for young children.
Where you’ll work
With a large outdoor space perfect for exploring the world, Jack and Jill Kindergarten enjoys connecting with the community through their intergenerational program and growing their learning in a high-quality environment that focuses on their wellbeing. We are seeking educators looking to grow their experience in a dynamic team set in a rural community.
Role Details:
Early Childhood Teacher
Wednesday and Thursday – 8:30am to 4:00pm
15 contact hours + 7.5 non-contact hours = 22.5 hours per week
What You’ll Do
As a valued member of our teaching team, you’ll:
- Support play-based learning programs that nurture each child’s growth and development
- Build warm, respectful relationships with children, families, and fellow educators
- Create safe, inclusive environments where every child feels seen, supported, and inspired
- Work collaboratively with your team to deliver exceptional education and care

What You’ll Bring
- Accredited qualification in early childhood teaching and current registration with VIT
- A genuine interest in supporting children’s development and commitment to ongoing learning
- Current Working With Children's Check, First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain)
- Great teamwork, communication, and reliability
