Due to continued growth, we have a rare opportunity for a skilled
Plant Equipment / Forklift Mechanic to join our team based in
Welshpool WA, working within our workshop operations.
About the Role:
- This position will focus on repairs, diagnostics and quoting, ensuring machinery is workshop-ready and delivered to a high standard.
- You will work closely with the Sales Representative and Yard Coordinators to ensure equipment is prepared efficiently and delivered on time.
- This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday | 7:00am–3:06pm (38-hour week).
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Diagnosing and repairing plant and forklift equipment
- Completing mechanical inspections and condition reports
- Preparing repair quotes and recommending required works
- Performing servicing and preventative maintenance
- Working collaboratively with sales and yard teams
- Maintaining high standards of safety and workmanship

About You:
- Mechanical Trade Certificate
- Experience servicing plant equipment, forklifts or automotive vehicles
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Experience preparing repair quotes (highly regarded)
- Current Australian driver’s licence
- Physically capable of manual handling tasks
- Commitment to safe work practices
- Ability to undergo a pre-employment medical including drug & alcohol screening
- Full working rights in Australia
