We are currently seeking an experienced Cloud Systems Administrator to join our team in Perth.

Position Summary

The Cloud Systems Administrator will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing cloud-based infrastructure and services. The successful candidate will ensure the reliability, security, and performance of cloud environments while supporting business-critical applications and systems.

Key Responsibilities

Administer and maintain cloud infrastructure across AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform environments.
Monitor system performance, availability, and security of cloud resources.
Configure and manage virtual machines, storage solutions, networking, and cloud services.
Implement backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies.
Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues and provide timely resolutions.
Manage user accounts, access controls, and security policies.
Support cloud migrations, upgrades, and infrastructure deployments.
Automate system administration tasks using scripting and cloud management tools.
Collaborate with development, cybersecurity, and IT support teams to ensure optimal system performance.
Maintain accurate technical documentation and operational procedures.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in cloud systems administration or infrastructure management.
Hands-on experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Strong understanding of cloud networking, virtualization, storage, and security concepts.
Experience with Windows Server and Linux administration.
Knowledge of backup, disaster recovery, and monitoring solutions.
Familiarity with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

Cloud certifications such as AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, AWS Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Administrator, or Google Cloud certifications.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
Knowledge of containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with DevOps methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
