In this role, you'll:
Join a high performing team to deliver complex technical analysis across OpenText based and enterprise technology initiatives. You will see lead detailed analysis activities that translate business requirements into clear, robust technical specifications and solution options. You will partner closely with architects and delivery teams to validate designs, ensure compliance with TfNSW and NSW Government standards, and support confident decision making across the solution lifecycle.
In a complex delivery environment supporting testing and quality assurance, you will maintain strong documentation and traceability of decisions, dependencies and design changes.
This is a Permanent TfNSW Grade 9 position. This role is governed by our hybrid working model, which forms part of the organisation’s Flexible Working Arrangements and associated procedures.

About you
You have strong analytical discipline, OpenText expertise and stakeholder engagement capability, formed across large scale enterprise or government technology programs, will see you successfully navigate complex requirements, assure non functional outcomes and enable high quality, compliant solutions.
You’re recognised as a trusted senior technical analyst, skilled at translating business needs into executable OpenText solutions, experienced in solution analysis, testing assurance support, lifecycle documentation and operating within structured governance environments.
- Minimum 10 years’ OpenText software experience in a customer-facing consulting role
- Design and assurance experience for building and upgrading OpenText systems
- Demonstrable experience in migrating and modernizing OpenText applications to virtualized or platforms, covering both technical aspects (applications and databases) and mitigating impact to business users and operations
- Possess appropriate certifications and have in-depth experience in OpenText Archive Server, Content Server, Directory Services, Document Presentment, Invoice Capture Center, Enterprise Scan and Connect and SAP/OpenText related products such as Invoice Management, Archiving and Document Access, xECM, and Employee File Management
- Familiarity with configuration and management of web/application servers (IIS, Tomcat, etc.)
- Hands on experience with OpenText deployment in a public cloud based on Microsoft Windows operating system and Microsoft SQL database
- Experience identifying and integrating OpenText add-on requirements for SAP Systems
- Experience serving as an OpenText team lead, technical lead and/or delivery lead
