Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Fleet Parts & Accessories Fitter to join our Adelaide workshop team on a fulltime basis.
About the Role
The Fleet Parts & Accessories Fitter is responsible for the installation, fitting, maintenance, repair, refurbishment and replacement of parts, components and accessories across RAM Equipment's fleet and associated equipment.
This is a hands-on trade position requiring experience fitting vehicle accessories, hydraulic systems, service bodies and specialised equipment to light commercial vehicles and mobile equipment.
Your work will play a key role in delivering compliant, high-quality equipment ready for deployment to site.
What You'll Be Working On
You'll gain exposure to a wide variety of equipment, including:

Key Responsibilities
-
Fit, install, and integrate automotive accessories, secondary component parts, and equipment to meet client compliance requirements
- Fit toolboxes, storage systems and towing equipment, ensuring all structural bolt on componenents are safely aligned and securely attached
- Install lighting systems, reverse cameras, safety equipment and communication systems
- Fit, remove and maintain hydraulic hoses, fittings and associated bolt-on plumbing components
- Inspect, remove, and repair faulty vehicle accessories
- Carry out preventative maintenance and refurbishment activities
- Fit and maintain attachments and accessories used on forklifts, trailers and other mobile equipment
- Ensure all work meets safety standards, compliance requirements and RAM quality expectations
- Complete workshop documentation and maintenance records, component logs, and parts inventory logs for all fitted items
- Maintain a safe, clean and organised workshop environment
About You
Essential
-
Minimum 3 years' experience fitting vehicle parts, accessories and equipment
- Relevant trade qualification or equivalent industry experience
- Experience using hand tools, power tools and workshop equipment
- High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- Strong commitment to safety
Highly Regarded

Experience with light commercial, service trucks, trailers or mobile plant
- Experience in vehicle fit-outs or accessories installation
- Hydraulic systems experience
- Forklift Licence
- White Card
- Experience in mining, civil or heavy equipment industries
