Your impact
We’re seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Power Generation team in Brisbane, supporting a major new wind farm project as well as a range of power generation and renewable energy assignments across the ANZ region. In this role, you will provide technical leadership, review and oversee detailed design deliverables, and contribute to multidisciplinary teams working across wind, solar, BESS and broader generation technologies. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer looking to take on project engineering responsibilities and grow into a broader leadership role within our expanding portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and review electrical design work for renewable energy and power generation projects.
Provide oversight on detailed design packages prepared by external contractors for major wind farm projects.
Proactively integrate HSE principles and safety standards into design work.
Support the electrical engineering team across a range of technical activities, including detailed design for other projects.
Undertake technical assessments, due diligence and quality reviews across generation technologies such as wind, solar, BESS, and thermal.
Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary project teams and project managers to ensure high‑quality, on‑time project delivery.
Conduct occasional site visits to support project engineering responsibilities and construction‑phase inspections.
Here's what you'll need
We’re looking for an experienced engineer with industry experience in electrical engineering, ideally gained within the power generation, renewable energy, utilities or broader energy sector. You will enjoy working in a project‑based consultancy environment where you can independently lead design reviews, contribute meaningful technical expertise, and build strong client and team relationships. This role offers genuine growth potential, including increasing project engineering responsibility and opportunities to contribute to major renewable energy projects across Australia and APAC.
You will bring:
A degree in Electrical Engineering.
Strong experience preparing and reviewing detailed design drawings, ideally within renewables or power generation.
Demonstrated capability working across wind, solar, BESS or other generation technologies.
Ability to work effectively in a consultancy environment (experience preferred but not essential).
Adaptability and flexibility to work across a variety of projects and technologies
Strong communication skills and a commitment to safety, quality and collaborative project delivery.
