House of Carnivore is a premium meat wholesaler and food service provider proudly based in Wingfield, South Australia. We supply top-quality meats, including Wagyu, Angus, lamb, poultry, and specialty hot pot slices to restaurants, hotels, and cafes across SA via our dedicated fleet of refrigerated trucks. Additionally, we operate a popular retail store in Payneham and leverage an innovative in-house chef team to help B2B clients refine their menus. We utilize the state-of-the-art Fresho App to streamline online ordering and customer management.
We are seeking an experienced and highly analytical Marketing Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying market opportunities and advising on the development, coordination, and implementation of promotional and pricing strategies for our diverse product range. You will work closely with our sales and innovation teams to drive both B2B wholesale client growth and B2C retail brand exposure.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Research potential demand, purchasing preferences, and market characteristics for premium meat products (such as Wagyu, Angus, lamb, and specialty hot pot cuts) across South Australia; collect and analyze competitor pricing and market trends.
2. Advise management and coordinate plans regarding product mix, pricing strategies, and distribution channels to maximize profitability and market share.
3. Develop, coordinate, and organize marketing policies and campaigns (such as seasonal promotions, sample box initiatives, and store events) to support wholesale and retail sales objectives.
4. Evaluate media placement strategies and coordinate the production of marketing materials across digital, print, and social media platforms.
5. Create, schedule, and publish promotional content across local and multicultural digital platforms to drive brand exposure and increase customer inquiries.
6. Manage online and social media channels to engage prospective hospitality clients and convert inquiries into verified sales leads.
7. Apply statistical and analytical models to assess the impact of promotional pricing strategies on gross margins, and monitor the performance of overall marketing initiatives to provide regular insights.
Qualifications and Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of professional marketing experience, with a proven track record in market research, campaign management, and strategic marketing.
3. A background in research-intensive, and complex sales environments is highly valued and transferrable.
4. Excellent proficiency in competitor price tracking, market demand modeling, and generating data-driven weekly and monthly reports.
5. Demonstrated success in optimizing Online-to-Offline (O2O) conversion funnels and leveraging social media accounts to generate inquiries and sales.
6. Strong written and verbal communication skills are highly desirable to effectively communicate with Adelaide's diverse hospitality operators and coordinate multicultural market strategies. Mandarin language skill is highly regarded (not essential)
7. A profit-oriented mindset with a clear understanding of aligning marketing budgets with bottom-line operations.
