About Role:
Ramsay Health Care is seeking a part-time Senior Clinical Trials Coordinator who will be responsible for the implementation and delivery of clinical trial activities at St George Private Hospital.
Reporting to the Clinical Trials & Research Manager, the successful applicants will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the clinical trials they have been assigned as well as management of Clinical Trial Coordinators
Key Responsibilities include:

Coordination of patient visits in accordance with the clinical trial protocol

Coordination of data collection and reporting for the clinical trial
-
Assist with start-up processes for clinical trials, ensuring the site can be activated as quicky as possible
-
Develop, implement and maintain systems to support the operational activities of the clinical trials unit as required by the site and the national team
-
Active engagement with key sponsors and key doctor groups
-
Management and support of ethics and governance activities and administrative activities associated with the study.

Leading a small team of coordinators.

Supporting Clinical Trials Unit and Research manager
About you
To be successful in this role, you will bring the following skills and experience:
-
Registered or Enrolled Nurse currently authorised to practice by AHPRA, or equivalent allied health or science qualification

Strong experience in clinical environment, with preference in conduct and coordination of clinical trials.

Demonstrated the ability to multitask, to work independently with minimal supervision, presented leadership ability and be part of a team
-
Proficient computer software, informatics, data collection and/or media skills
-
Ability to develop rapport with patients and their families in stressful situations
-
Experience working with busy clinicians
-
Knowledge of relevant codes and legislation related to human research ethics and research governance within Australia.

Proven ability to establish professional relationships, influence, and work in partnership with stakeholders and employees at all levels
-
Demonstrated ability to pursue challenging goals whilst successfully managing competing priorities
-
Experience working in clinical trials/clinical research will be highly regarded
-
Demonstrated the understanding of medical and clinical trials methodology and knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (ICH-GCP) requirements
Preferable criteria:
-
Oncology and/or haematology clinical trials experience
-
Knowledge and experience in managing Phase 1 clinical trials

Experience in human biological samples processing
-
Knowledge in the operation of clinical trial management system
