The role
Crown Resorts is seeking an experienced Paralegal to join our group legal team on a permanent, full-time basis. This dynamic role supports our lawyers across Sydney, Melbourne and Perth in delivering high-quality legal services by managing documentation, conducting research, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. In addition to supporting with a diverse and complex range of work, you’ll also be responsible for managing the legal technology requirements of the team.
We’re looking for someone who is detail-oriented, highly organised and has a pro-active approach to their work. This role is based on-site in our Crown Melbourne property.
You'll be:
Drafting, reviewing, and managing legal documents and correspondence including contract amendments, extensions, licences, and confidentiality agreements
Conducting legal research and monitoring legislative updates, preparing summaries for internal distribution
Maintaining accurate filing systems and case management records
Contributing to the development and maintenance of internal legal resources such as templates, playbooks, and process guides
Participating in legal process improvement initiatives, including automation, digitisation and standardisation of routine tasks
Liaising with clients, courts and external stakeholders as required
Providing administrative support to the legal team
You’ll bring:
A Certificate IV in Legal Services or equivalent qualification (or working towards)
Strong understanding of legal terminology and processes
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities whilst remaining calm under pressure
High attention to detail and presentation skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal practice management software
