Job Summary:
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with strong full stack capability and a clear strength in backend development to join our growing engineering team.
This role is focused on delivering end-to-end solutions across the full software development lifecycle, while also enhancing and scaling backend systems.
You will have the opportunity to deepen your technical expertise, work across modern technologies (including AI), and contribute to high-quality, enterprise-grade software solutions.
You will be part of a supportive and collaborative team where people are approachable, friendly and genuinely work together. There is a career path, with opportunities to grow into either a technical leadership role or a people leadership position.
You will also have the opportunity to continue developing your coding skills, mentor others, take ownership of technical outcomes and work with emerging technologies including AI.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop and unit test applications in line with established engineering standards
Deliver end-to-end development across the full SDLC
Build, enhance and scale backend services and platforms
Collaborate with Product, Architecture, DevOps, QA and wider business stakeholders
Contribute to system design, performance optimisation and technical problem solving
Take ownership of requirements arising from Scrum ceremonies
Mentor junior developers and contribute to a strong, collaborative engineering culture
Requirements:
About you
Strong full stack development experience with a clear backend focus
Experience delivering end-to-end software solutions across the full SDLC
Open minded and willing to experiment with new technologies, particularly AI
Interest in leveraging AI to improve development efficiency and delivery outcomes
Strong communication skills with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams
Collaborative team player who contributes positively to team culture
Technical skills and experience
Strong experience with .NET / C# and modern web technologies
Experience building APIs and backend services
Strong SQL and relational database experience
Experience working in Agile environments such as Scrum or Kanban
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern development practices
