Your next career opportunity
You will join Dilin Duwa as a Lecturer, Senior Lecturer or Associate Professor in Indigenous Business Leadership.
You will lead research on Indigenous leadership, entrepreneurship, policy and participation, collaborating with communities, industry and government.
You will help grow an Indigenous business ecosystem advancing economic independence and opportunities for First Nations peoples.
What you will deliver:
- Lead or contribute to high-quality research projects on Indigenous leadership, entrepreneurship, business ecosystems, policy and participation.
- Secure research funding, produce influential publications and share findings with academic, community, policy and industry audiences.
- Supervise and mentor higher degree researchers and early-career academics within Dilin Duwa’s programmes and projects.
- Contribute to postgraduate, executive or community teaching where aligned with your expertise and the Centre’s priorities.
- Build partnerships with Indigenous communities, governments, businesses and universities, strengthening the Indigenous business ecosystem nationally and internationally.
You may be a great fit if you:
- Identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander and bring lived experience of Indigenous cultures and knowledges.
- Hold a doctoral degree in Indigenous business, Indigenous leadership or a closely related discipline.
- Demonstrate a strong and growing record of research, publications and, where applicable, competitive research funding success.
- Bring experience designing and delivering university-level subjects or programmes in Indigenous Business and Leadership or related fields.
- Provide successful supervision and mentoring for higher degree research students and emerging Indigenous scholars.
- Collaborate effectively with Indigenous communities, industry, government and academic partners to influence policy and practice.
