Position Overview
The JavaScript Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining web-based applications using modern JavaScript technologies. The successful candidate will collaborate with designers, product managers, and software engineers to build scalable solutions that deliver exceptional user experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance responsive web applications using JavaScript and modern frameworks.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement engaging and intuitive user interfaces.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following industry best practices.
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve front-end and application-related issues.
- Optimize application performance, speed, and scalability.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work within Agile development methodologies and sprint cycles.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for applications and development processes.
- Ensure applications meet security, accessibility, and quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in JavaScript development.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
- Experience with modern frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Knowledge of API integration and asynchronous programming concepts.
- Familiarity with Git version control and collaborative development workflows.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Node.js and server-side JavaScript development.
- Knowledge of TypeScript and modern build tools.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
