Join our Adelaide airport team as a Chef in a permanent full-time position.
This is a hands-on role that helps keep the Australian aviation industry moving.

What does a typical day look like?
You will be working in a busy, open plan kitchen preparing & cooking various international hot & cold meals in commercial quantities, for our customer airlines.
In a nutshell, your main responsibilities are:

Prepare and cook hot and cold Economy and Business class meals for our Domestic and International Airline customers.

Work to the menu specifications of each airline, ensuring ingredient accuracy.

Assist the Kitchen Team meet daily production targets in line with the Master Production Schedule (MPS).

Minimise food wastage and ensure effective stock control.

Maintain a clean and hygiene working environment at all times.

Follow all Food Safety, HSE and Hygiene policies, including HACCP, IFSA and QSA
What do you need to be successful in securing this role?

Clear National Police Check.

Certificate III Commercial Cookery or higher qualifications

Min 3 years commercial Chef experience

Previous experience in a commercial kitchen environment preferred but not essential.

Passion and drive to deliver high quality food for our customers.

Flexibility to work a 7-day rotating roster & availability to work 38 hrs/week

Good written and verbal communication skills (English).

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes, specifications, and processes.

Good organisational and time management skills.

A team-first mindset and willingness to support others.

Must be motivated, hardworking and have a good attitude.
