About the Team
Armidale Hospital is a 99-bed regional facility providing a broad range of healthcare services to the New England community. Our dedicated teams work collaboratively across Emergency, Inpatient Wards, Outpatient Services and Allied Health, delivering high-quality patient-centred care in a supportive and fast-paced environment.
As a Relief Clerk, you'll have the opportunity to work across multiple departments, gaining valuable exposure to a variety of clinical and administrative settings while supporting the smooth operation of hospital services.
About the Role
As a Relief Clerk, you'll provide flexible administrative and clerical support across various hospital departments. No two days are the same, with responsibilities including:
- Welcoming patients, visitors and staff as a first point of contact
- Managing telephone, email and face-to-face enquiries
- Supporting patient admissions and appointment processes
- Maintaining accurate data entry and electronic records
- Assisting clinical teams with administrative tasks and documentation
- Contributing to efficient day-to-day operations across multiple units

About You
