About EddenRose

EddenRose Community Services is a governance-led provider delivering community-based supports under the NDIS and Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) Community Nursing Program.

We operate with a strong focus on:

Clinical governance and RN-led oversight
Participant-centred and goal-oriented support
Structured, safe, and consistent service delivery
Professional documentation aligned with regulatory standards

Role Overview

Registered Nurses will deliver and oversee community-based clinical care to participants and clients in their homes.

This includes both:

Direct clinical care; and
Clinical oversight, delegation, and supervision of Enrolled Nurses and Support Workers

The role supports individuals with a range of needs, including disability, chronic health conditions, and post-acute care requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver safe, person-centred clinical care in the home and community
Conduct clinical assessments and contribute to care planning
Administer and monitor medications in line with scope of practice
Provide wound care, chronic disease management, and post-acute care
Support participants to achieve NDIS goals where applicable
Provide clinical delegation and supervision to ENs and support staff
Maintain accurate, contemporaneous, and audit-ready documentation
Identify, escalate, and manage clinical risks and incidents
Work collaboratively with families, support coordinators, GPs, and allied health

Essential Requirements

Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (no restrictions)
Minimum 2–3 years post-registration experience
Demonstrated clinical competence in:
Medication management
Wound care
Clinical assessments
Understanding of delegation, supervision, and scope of practice
Strong documentation and communication skills
Current:
NDIS Worker Screening Check
National Police Check
Working with Children Check (if applicable)
Valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable, insured vehicle
Right to work in Australia

Desirable Experience

Community nursing or home-based care
Experience supporting NDIS participants
Experience with DVA clients or aged care
Exposure to high-intensity or complex care (e.g. PEG, tracheostomy, ventilator support)
Understanding of behaviour support environments
