We are looking for two passionate and dedicated individuals to join our Neurology Team at The Royal Melbourne Hospital City Campus in collaboration with Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre.

The Royal Melbourne is one of Victoria’s largest hospitals providing a comprehensive range of health services including acute, sub-acute, general, and specialist medical services throughout inpatient and community-based facilities. We are also a proud part of the world-renowned Melbourne Biomedical Precinct, working in collaboration to advance research for continuous improvement of clinical care.

Unit Description:

The Royal Melbourne Hospital Neuroimmunology Centre is offering two 1-year fellowships in multiple sclerosis – with focus on (i) MS & Neuroimmunology or (ii) MS & CAR-T cell therapy. The latter is offered in collaboration with the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre (PMCC). The positions are accredited by the Royal Australian College of Physicians as non-core training in neurology.

About the role:

· Play a key role in the coordination of patient care in neuroimmunology

· Participate in weekly MS, CAR-T and Neurology clinics

· Participation in the provision of care in the Day Infusion Centre

· Attendance of weekly research and departmental meetings

About You:

· Registration with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA) or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia (for international Medical Graduates)

· MBBS or equivalent tertiary qualifications who have trained and completed core years of Neurology training (or local equivalent)

· Ability to work in a team

· Well-developed communication and presentation skills
