About the Role
We’re searching for an enthusiastic Team Leader to oversee morning café operations at our
busy Waroona store. As the first point of contact for our customers, you’ll set the tone for
the day — leading by example, motivating your team, and ensuring every guest enjoys the
exceptional Pinjarra Bakery experience we’re famous for.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll ensure smooth, efficient, and high-quality
service from the moment the doors open.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Leadership & Culture
Champion Pinjarra Bakery’s values through positive communication and genuine people leadership
Motivate your team to deliver outstanding food, coffee and customer service
Set a high standard for service excellence and presentation
People Management
Train team members in product handling, customer service, ordering and equipment use
Manage staffing levels, breaks and workflow based on business needs
Foster a safe, clean, and supportive work environment
Identify strengths and development areas across your team
Operations & Customer Service
Ensure dining and alfresco areas remain clean and well-presented
Follow opening procedures and assist with financial tasks where required
Monitor till change levels, conduct stock checks and support ordering
Handle customer feedback with professionalism and care
Answer phones and process orders accurately
General Duties
Report maintenance issues promptly
Take on additional tasks as required
Participate in ongoing training and development
What You’ll Bring
Strong customer service skills and a passion for hospitality
Proven ability to lead, support and motivate a team
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Ability to plan, prioritise and delegate effectively
Calmness under pressure and strong decision-making abilities
Reliable, organised and highly accountable
Confidence with POS and basic computer systems
A positive attitude and genuine commitment to delivering a memorable customer experience
Experience in a fast-paced café, bakery, or hospitality environment will be highly regarded.
