About Us

The Opportunity

We're looking for a talented and motivated Pastry Demi Chef de Partie to join our Wildflower Kitchen. Reporting to the Head Pastry Chef, this is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills and craft alongside a passionate team in a world-class environment.

What You'll Be Doing

Preparing, producing and presenting high-quality pastry dishes with consistency in taste and appearance
Supporting stock control, food ordering and maintaining market lists
Assisting in the upkeep of kitchen standard operating procedures
Controlling costs through minimising spoilage, managing inventory and practising portion control
Maintaining HACCP standards and all food safety and hygiene requirements
Keeping all equipment, machinery and utensils clean and in good working order
Contributing to a positive, professional kitchen environment and supporting senior team members
Reporting all accidents, incidents and near misses in line with WHS obligations

What We're Looking For

Completion of a commercial cookery apprenticeship or equivalent trade qualification (required for this classification)
Proven experience in a pastry kitchen, ideally in a fine dining or luxury hotel environment
A passion for high-quality pastry and an eye for detail
Strong communication, teamwork and time management skills
Sound knowledge of food safety legislation and HACCP principles
Willingness to learn, grow and take direction from senior personnel
