Job Description
As a Business Development Manager (BDM) at ELMO Software, you will drive revenue growth by identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities across mid-sized organizations. You will act as a trusted advisor, showcasing how our Complete AI Workforce Platform transforms HR practices.
Key responsibilities :
•
Drive Net New Revenue: Actively prospect, pipeline, and secure new business partnerships within target mid-market territories to consistently achieve and exceed monthly quarterly sales quotas.
•
Execute Strategic Consultative Sales: Conduct comprehensive discovery sessions with HR executives and C-suite stakeholders to deeply understand their operational pain points and map out tailored ELMO solutions.
•
Manage End-to-End Sales Lifecycles: Lead prospects entirely through the sales funnel—from outbound lead generation and qualifying incoming marketing leads, to pricing alignment, contract negotiation, and successful closure.
•
Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner closely with Solution Engineers, Account Management, and Implementation teams to guarantee an exceptional onboarding experience and smooth transition for new clients.

Maintain CRM and Forecasting Excellence: Actively maintain precise data hygiene within the CRM, providing leadership with highly accurate forecasting, pipeline tracking, and market feedback.
•
Champion Brand Representation: Act as an ambassador for ELMO Software at industry events, networking groups, and webinars, staying ahead of tech trends to uniquely position our market-leading security and capability.
Skills and Experiences:
Skills and Experience:
•
4+ years’ experience achieving targets in B2B software sales with clients of approximately 100–2,000 employees.
•
3+ years’ demonstrated sales experience, ideally in the technology industry.
•
Strong understanding of the software or technology sales cycle.
•
Proven ability to prospect for new business through relevant channels and build pipeline.
•
Experience managing activity, forecasts and pipeline in Salesforce CRM.
•
Confidence delivering sales presentations, demonstrations and proposals across different formats including virtual and in-person environments.
•
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage a broad range of stakeholders.
•
Strong prioritisation skills and the ability to work autonomously while staying focused on outcomes and targets.
•
A proactive, self-starting approach with persistence and commercial drive.
